2019 Südsteiermark DAC Gamlitz Sauvignon Blanc Ortswein trocken "Sandstein", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Still somewhat reductive, a touch bacony and nutty-yeasty aroma with restrained yellow and green fruity aromas, some fennel, hints of elderflower, pepper and floral nuances. Clear, polished, fine-juicy fruit with fine vegetable spice, a little reminiscent of spinach, pine nuts on the palate, harmonious acidity marbling the wine, delicately smoky to bacony on the palate, yeasty notes, light minerality, some depth, still undeveloped, very good, fresh, juicy finish with a hint of red berries and gooseberries.
