2011 Süd-Steiermark Ried Grassnitzberg Sauvignon Blanc Reserve trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Cool, deep, fairly firm and tart nose, elegant vegetal, grassy and herbaceous notes, light peppery notes, restrained, elegant yellow and green fruitm algae, intense mineral notes. Very firm on the palate, cool, concentrated, firm and polished, very noble fruit, very elegant, lively acidity, persistent, elegant herbaceous, vegetal and mineral notes, still has noticeable yeasty notes in the background, very firm mineral backbone, deep and complex, still largely undeveloped, has grip, delicate hint of tobacco, very clear contours, tart and juicy, yeasty and nutty notes, cool spicy vegetal notes, minerally on a firm, long finish. Needs time to mature.
