Editor note: Fairly cool nose with light yeasty notes, spicy vegetal notes, avocado and some pepper, yellow and green fruit. Tart, almost austere on the palate, cool spicy vegetal notes, light mineral notes, has some grip, lively, elegant acidity, good persistence, clear fruit, quite refreshing, good finish.

At the end of the 19th century, there were still 35,000 hectares of vineyards in Lower Styria, as it was then called, in the monarchy - that was about 15 times as much as today.
