Editor note: Smoky to slightly bacony nose Aroma of red and black berries with dry herbal notes and earthy hints. Slightly muted fruit, smoky notes again, some bitterish nutty wood tones and slightly drying tannin, good persistence and substance, peppery nuances, a hint of roasted onions, good finish

The wine-growing region is located in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany.
