2013 Lemberger trocken "Hades", Württemberg, Germany

Firm, fairly mature nose, light earthy notes, hint of undergrowth and tobacco, predominantly black berries, light toasted and peppery traces. Firm, tart, ripe, dark fruit on the palate, lots of toasted oak, some dark chocolate, persistent and full-bodied, hint of bacon and tobacco, dark chocolate and some coffee, herbaceous traces, hint of citrus zests, good substance and persistendce, some depth, very good, firm finish.
