Somewhat smoky, almondy, planty to herbal and hints of mushroomy nose with restrained yellow fruity aromas and a hint of dark berries. Youthful, very slightly muted, not quite dry fruit with delicately creamy, fine acidity, light tannic grip, some persistence hinted at lemon zest, liquorice and sage, chalky tones, good if unnecessarily sweet finish.
