Quite tightly knit, somewhat nutty, dried herbal and slightly mushroomy nose of predominantly red berries and a little cherry with a hint of pepper and cocoa. Partly preserved fruit with a slight acid bite and some smoky and nutty wood spice, relatively present, fine but also still slightly drying tannin, walnut and pepper in the background, a hint of soy, dried mushrooms and salt, good to very good, again peppery and somewhat smoky finish.
