2018 Siefersheim Heerkretz Silvaner "Selection", Rheinhessen, Germany

Vegetable, nutty and slightly yellow-spicy, also a hint of caramel fragrance of ripe yellow fruits with candy notes, some mustard cucumber and yellow spice. Warm, quite sweet fruit with lots of yellow spice, dried-vegetable to herbal and floral notes, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, certain power and warmth, candy tones, quite distinct, relatively dark minerality, smoky traces, nutty in the again relatively sweet finish.
