Translate to English Holzwürziger und nussig-schokoladiger Duft nach kandierten und eingekochten schwarzen Beeren mit Noten von roten Beeren und Zwetschgen, etwas Suppenkräutern, Gewürzen und Rumtopf. Sehr reife, warme, süßlich-kompottige Frucht mit viel röstiger Holzwürze und Kandisnoten, nussige Töne am Gaumen, Schokolade und Nougat, viel Kraft, Fett und Wärme, nachhaltig, auch im Abgang süß-kompottig und deutlich röstig-holzwürzig. Am Ende dann doch etwas zu kompottig, dazu ohne Sortenart und nicht fein genug für höhere Weihen, aber die gekonnte Machart lässt sich nach wie vor nicht verhehlen.

Editor note: Translate to English Sehr viel Holz in der Nase, intensive Röstaromen, dahinter reife Kirschen und rote Beeren. Auch im Mund deutliches Neuholz, dazu hochreife, süßliche Frucht, sehr warmer Stil, feines Tannin, spürbarer, aber überraschend gut integrierter Alkohol, mächtiger Körper, Rumtopfnoten im Hintergrund, gute Saftigkeit, recht lang. Ganz exzellent gemacht. Noch unsichere Prognose, dürfte aber mit der Reife noch merklich zulegen.
