2020 Leimen Herrenberg Grauburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken "Oberklamm", Baden, Germany

Smoky and nutty pome fruit scent with citrus nuances, light wood aromas, a little tobacco, herbs and bacon. Ripe, firm, melting fruit, tart, smoky, again rather light wood spice, fine acidity and a lot of grip of friable tannin, persistent and quite powerful on the palate, warming alcohol, tart herbal and delicately bacony tones, but also very slight sweetness, certain depth, still undeveloped, broad-shouldered type, yet with clear contours, very good, firm finish. Must mature.
