2020 Leimen Herrenberg Chardonnay Grosses Gewächs trocken "Lange Wingert S", Baden, Germany

Nutty, somewhat fennel and light woody aroma with tart yellow fruity aromas, some smoke and green bacon, dried vegetal to tobacco nuances and some minerality. Ripe, bright, juicy fruit, fennel and ethereal notes, very fine acidity, a hint of carbonic acid and some grip of ripe tannin, moderate wood, good persistence, a hint of mushrooms in the background, hints of candy, yellow spice, some coffee, mineral tones, very good, spicy, melting and candied-fruity finish.
