2011 Heidelberg Herrenberg Blauer Spätburgunder trocken "R" ***, Baden, Germany

Clear, polished nose, red and black berries, light herbaceous notes, moderate spicy oak, floral notes and some mineral notes. Ripe, polished, quite juicy fruit on the palate, spicy oak, light sugar candy, hint of licorice, good persistence, elegant acid bite, mineral notes in the background, delicate spice, nutty and peppery notes on a good finish.
