Translate to English Röstiger Duft nach Sauerkirschen und teils eingekochten roten Beeren mit viel Neuholz, Vanille und leicht krautigen Anklängen. Fest und relativ holzbetont im Mund, stark röstig, reife Kirsch- und Beerenfrucht, schokoladige Töne, etwas raues und trocknendes (Holz-) Tannin, viel Kraft und sehr viel Schmelz am Gaumen, gewisse Säure, wirkt noch sehr jung und wenig entwickelt, zart kräutige Spuren im relativ langen Abgang. Nicht ganz sichere Prognose; der Wein schmeckt derzeit, als hätte man versucht, aus Burgunder Bordeaux zu machen.
