2020 Thüngersheim Spätburgunder VDP.Ortswein trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat nutty and a touch chocolaty aroma of ripe red and black berries with herbal nuances and a hint of juniper. Ripe, partly preserved fruit, moderately toasty and again slightly chocolaty spice, crumbly tannin, certain power and warmth, chalky hints in the background, a touch of coffee, good to very good finish.
