2017 Thüngersheim Johannisberg Silvaner trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, light vegetal and earthy notes, hint of mushrooms, restrained yellow fruit, peppery traces, some celery and parsley. Pomaceous fruit on the palate, light nutty and vegetal notes, elegant, fairly prominent acidity, light tannic touch, earthy notes, slightly creamy, fairly persistent, salty traces and some pulses, hint of bacon, touch of caramel, some grip, slightly noticeable warm alcohol on a good to very good finish.
