The winery is located in the municipality of Steinheim-Höpfigheim (Württembergisch Unterland area) between Stuttgart and Heilbronn in the German Württemberg wine growing region. It has been in family ownership for several generations. Senior boss is Herbert Schütz, responsible cellar master son Benjamin Schütz. As a former member of the local cooperative, the grapes have been processed and the wines marketed since the 2008 vintage. The vineyards cover 6.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Königsberg (Höpfigheim), Lichtenberg (Kleinbottwar) and Wartberg (Beilstein)

They are stocked to 30% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Kerner, Müller-Thurgau, Chardonnay, Muscaris, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, and 70% with the red wine varieties, Cabernet Cantor, Cabernet Cortis, Dornfelder, Frühburgunder, Lemberger, Muscat Trollinger, Piroso, Schwarzriesling, Spätburgunder and Trollinger. Farming is carried out in a natural, environmentally friendly manner, without the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilizers and, in the case of PIWI varieties, pesticides all year round

The red wines undergo the traditional maceration without heating. The white wines are fermented at a controlled temperature and undergo extremely reductive ageing. The premium wines are marketed under the label "Fascination", including the red wines "Ü-100 Lemberger Auslese trocken" and the "PIWI Cabernet Cuvée", which are aged in barriques. Additional products of the house are bottle-fermented sparkling wine, Secco (sparkling wine), noble brandy matured in wooden barrels and wine jelly.
