Firm, slightly dried-plant and lightly earthy scent of ripe dark berries and cherries with restrained smoky, roasted, and tobacco-like barrel tones. Polished, cool-appearing, fresh, herbaceous-juicy dark fruit, vibrant acidity, and firm yet fine tannins, lasting on the palate, slightly herbal-plant-like, a lot of salt, certain depth, smoky and slightly tobacco notes, a hint of bacon and underbrush, very good, again firm, herbaceous-juicy finish with a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. Can age.
