2010 Kamptal DAC Ried Lamm Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken Erste Lage, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Concentrated nose, pears and melon, fresh vegetal notes, predominantly kohlrabi, dried basil and marjoram, light spicy oak. Full-bodied, concentrated and juicy on the palate, very polished, but also quite creamy fruit, elegant acidity, peppery notes, dried herbs, excellent persistence and depth, alcohol still slightly noticeable, some more spicy oak, sugar candy, other sweetish-tart spices, firm, still totally undeveloped, very good long finish.
