2006 Kamptal trocken Cuvée Bertrand, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart nose, black berries, some vegetal notes and oak, hint of cherries, sooty and smoky notes. Quite tart again on the palate, darh, quite juicy fruit, prominent roasted and smoky oak, spicy with some sooty notes, quite fine, slightly astringent tannins, medium body and persistence, earthy notes, fairly tart again on an oaky finish.

Best to drink: 2011-2014+. What our ratings mean
