2018 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir, Alto Adige, Italy

Clear, a little dried herbaceous scent of red and hints of black berries with floral and tobacco traces. Clear, fine-juicy, somewhat smoky fruit, fine tannin and some bite, persistent on the palate, juniper-ethereal spice, a hint of dark chocolate and coffee, also salty notes in the background, persistent, some depth, very good finish with ripe juice and nutty spice.

Editor note: Somewhat dried.floral, slightly bacony and hinted mushroomy scent of more red than black berries with tobacco nuances and a little ethereal spice. Ripe, melting, somewhat warm fruit with nutty wood hints, a little cocoa and coffee and again ethereal hints, crumbly-sandy, quite fine, ripe tannin, good persistence, peppery traces, also salt in the background, very good, juicy and spicy finish.
