The winery is located in the community of Reicholzheim (Tauberfranken area) in the German Baden
wine region. It was founded in 1984 by Konrad and Monika Schlör, who until then had delivered their grapes to the local cooperative. The vineyards cover five hectares of vineyards in the Reicholzheim single vineyard First
. They are planted with the red wine varieties Spätburgunder, Schwarzriesling and Dornfelder as well as the white wine varieties Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Silvaner, Weißburgunder, Kerner and Bacchus. The white wines are fermented cool. The quality criteria for the red wines are lowest yields, classic maceration, malolactic fermentation and barrique ageing for up to 18 months. The winery is a member of the Vereinigung Tauber-Edition (TE) and since the beginning of 2010 of the VDP
(Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
