2023 Sauvignon Blanc Landwein trocken "Vin Brutalement", Steirerland, Austria

Herb-plant-based, floral, slightly nutty and smoky nose with yellow fruity aromas, a bit of wax and yeasty hints, as well as a touch of mustard seed and light tobacco in the background. Firmly structured, tart fruit with quite lively acidity and a lot of grip from ripe tannins and yeast, distinctly plant-based, partly slightly herbal aromas on the palate, some fennel, also floral notes and again a hint of mustard, certain creaminess, suggested ethereal quality, persistent, good depth, with minerality in the background and a hint of black berries, very good, quite dense finish with ripe juice, spice, grip, and moderate creaminess.
