2020 Oberemmel Altenberg Riesling Auslese, Mosel, Germany

Quite firm, somewhat dried-vegetable, nutty and very slightly mushroomy aroma of preserved yellow fruits with a hint of blackberries and hints of yellow spice. Firm, very sweet fruit with slightly minty hints, lively, yet very fine acidity, a hint of dried mushrooms and medicinal herbs, delicate tannic grip, dense and persistent on the palate, some depth, some candy and honey in the background, orange blossom and a hint of cinnamon, salty and chalky tones, very good finish with spice, lots of sweetness and some bite.
