2020 Bockenau Stromberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Cool, firm, reductive, clearly yeasty and a little smoky nose with fine, bright yellow fruity aromas, floral nuances, a touch of mustard and quite distinct minerality. Fairly tightly knit, bright, juicy, largely dry fruit, lively, fine acidity and plenty of grip, persistent, somewhat yeasty, rather clear, again rather bright minerality, again also mustard, fine herbaceous-vegetable aromas, aromas reminiscent of tarragon, densely wrought, has depth, a touch of lichen and dark berries, still completely undeveloped, very good, firm, juicy finish with mineral and slightly green spice, plenty of acid bite and hints of dark berries.
