2020 Bockenau Felseneck Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Deep and complex, somewhat smoky-reductive and clearly herbaceous-vegetal nose with rather bright yellow-fruity tones, a hint of courgette, green pepper, floral nuances and minerality. Very tightly knit, first quite bright fruit with fresh planty and slightly melon tones, lots of pepper, lively acidity and plenty of grip, persistent, herbal, slightly floral, distinct minerality, lichen in the background, also a trace of red and black berries, still undeveloped, very firm structure, certain depth, delicate, sweetish melting, very good, tight finish with bite.
