Editor note: Cool, still somewhat reductive, multi-layered, firm and light citrus-peach nose with fresh floral and delicately herbaceous nuances. Clear, tight, juicy, on the one hand rather light fruit, but also with dark berry notes, lively acidity, yeasty and floral tones on the palate, persistent, clearly mineral in the background, still completely undeveloped, has tension, very good to long, tight finish

The wine-growing region is located in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany and is named after the river of the same name. There is much preserved evidence of the Romans, who already cultivated wine here. The vineyards cover 4,237 hectares of vines along the river from Hunsrück to where it flows into the Rhine at Bingen.
