2018 Schlossböckelheim Felsenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Tart nose, still closed, yeasty notes, hint of sulphur, prominent floral notes, light yellow fruit aromas, touch of dark berries, dried herbs, peppery traces, mineral notes. Restrained, light, sweetish fruit on the palate, elegant, lively acidity, touch of carbon dioxide, fresh herbs with a minty touch, floral traces, hint of red berries, good persistence, fresh style, touch of elderflower, prominent mineral notes, very good finish, but unnecessarily sweet. Needs time to mature.
