2017 Bockenau Felseneck Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

deep, complex nose, still reductive and yeasty, herbaceous aromas, light yellow fruit, hint of black berries, floral traces, hint of tobacco, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, concentrated, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, herbaceous and floral notes, yeasty, intense, overpowering mineral notes, ripe acidity provides firm bite, firm tannic grip, deep, concentrated and persistent, tremendously vibrant, extremely firm structure, chewy, elegant herbaceous and more prominent spicy mineral notes on a long, firm, tart, juicy, gripping finish. A masterpiece.
