2015 Bockenau Stromberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Cool nose, still restless with prominent yeasty notes, vegetal and herbaceous aromas, citrus and stone fruit, light floral traces, hint of dark berries, prominent mineral notes. Firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, lively, elegant acidity, light grip, herbaceous and yeasty notes, persistent, very firm structure, has some depth, cool, tart mineral notes, still largely undeveloped, some exotic notes, remains cool and elegant, complex, delicate green spice, salty mineral notes, very good, long, firm, elegant and juicy finish. Currently still rather unapproachable, may well still improve with time.
