2019 trocken "Parzival", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm and quite deep, slightly smoky aroma of ripe black and red berries with toasty notes, a little herbs, bacon and juniper. Tight, cool, tangy fruit, youthful, quite present, fine tannin and noticeable bite, smoky and toasty flavours, peppery-ethereal spice, lasting, some depth, distinct minerality, a hint of ice confectionery in the background, quite complex, some depth, very good, tight, juicy and spicy finish, again with ethereal notes.
