2019 Bürgstadt Spätburgunder VDP.Ortswein trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart, slightly tobaccoy and a hint of earthy scent of red and black berries with tart wood barrel notes, hints of green peppers and mineral nuances. Taut, tart, ripe fruit, slightly ethereal notes, herbs and a hint of cubeb pepper, some smoky to toasty wood, fine sandy, very slightly drying tannin, salty minerality, some depth, a hint of malt, very good, juicy, spicy, only slightly drying finish with ethereal notes.
