2017 Klingenberg Schloßberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly cool, firm, clear nose, predominantly red and some black fruit, floral and mineral notes, hint of almonds. Clear, ripe, partly preserved juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty, toasted oak, fine tannins, light acid bite, veryslightly noticeable warm alcohol, straightforward style, hint of tobacco, smoky traces, persistent, some depth, still undeveloped, some grip, clear contours, slightly warm again on a very good finish.
