2017 Bürgstadt Berg Spätburgunder VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light fresh vegetal aromas on the nose, red berries and a few black berries, hint of smoked bacon, fairly prominent notes of mushrooms, earthy and mineral traces. Clear, tart, cool , firm fruit on the palate, elegant and juicy, smoky and toasted notes, pepperyspice, persistent, some bite, fairly prominent youthful, but also ripe and fine tannins, some depth, firm structure, mineral notes on a very good, juicy, spicy finish.
