2002 Volkach Karthäuser Chardonnay, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Deep nose with spicy oak, aromas of honey melon, pumpkin, candied citrus fruit and some green vegetables. Very juicy fruit, quite full-bodied, concentrated and supple, moderate acidity, completely integrated oak, persistent on the palate, excellent balance, long, juicy finish.
