1999 Bürgstadt Centgrafenberg Silvaner Spätlese trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fresh, youthful aromas of green bananas, apples and melons, with notes of herbs and minerals. Pure, quite supple fruit, spicy, delicately fruity, at the same time bone dry except for a hint of glycerol sweetness, mineral backbone, lively acidity, medium to full body, very good balance, long finish. Perfect accompaniment to hearty Franken cuisine.
