The winery is located in the municipality of Nordheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine growing region of Franconia
. The Müller family has been growing wine since the end of the 19th century. The present estate was built by the current owner Dorothea Rudloff-Müller. Since 1990, son Peter Rudloff has been responsible for the wine production. The vineyards comprise 4.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Kreuzberg and Vögelein
(Nordheim), as well as Katzenkopf
(Sommerach). They are planted to 70% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Bacchus and Gewürztraminer, and 30% with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Cabernet Dorio, Cabernet Dorsa and Zweigelt. Natural viticulture is practiced. The wines are restrained and slowly fermented. The simpler wines are aged in stainless steel, the best in barrique. They are marketed in the four lines Good Grape (litre goods with screw cap), Young Shoots (youthful, sparkling), Classic Berry (Franconian line) and Noble Vine (top quality). Fine brandies and liqueurs are also produced.
