2019 Wiesenbronn Spätburgunder trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, rather cool, tart, rather fresh, rather dark fruit with herbal notes and a hint of cherries. Straightforward, a hint of bitter-chocolatey fruit, some bite and crumbly-sandy tannin, some persistence, peppery and herbal notes, a hint of salt, smoky and toasty tones, good to very good, quite fresh finish.
