2016 Kiedrich Turmberg Riesling trocken Erste Lage, Rheingau, Germany

Cool, tart nose, still slightly muted, citrus aromas, evegtal and herbaceous notes, light floral and yeasty traces, earthy and mineral note. Clear, firm, ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, lively, very elegant, polished acidity, noticeable tannins, good grip, fairly prominent salty mineral notes, delicate hint of bacon in the background, persistent and concentrated, still largely undeveloped, delicately sweet, some depth, prominent mineral notes on a very good firm, juicy finish. Needs time to mature.
