2016 Kiedrich Riesling trocken Ortswein, Rheingau, Germany

Cool, fairly tart nose, earthy and mineral notes, hint of tobacco, peppery notes, restrained yellow fruit. Firm, ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, prominent mineral notes, light dried vegetal and herbaceous aromas, lively acidity, appears more sweetish with aeration, persistent, light tannic grip, fairly firm structure, some depth, hint of tobacco, still young, very good firm finish, appears tart in spite of some residual sugar.
