2012 Kiedrich Gräfenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Lightly smoky and almost slightly roasted aroma of ripe citrus fruits with core and stone fruit notes, minty herbal aromas, floral traces, and minerality. Ripe, juicy, slightly melting fruit with nutty and lightly caramelized aromas, very fine acidity, some grip, dense and persistent on the palate, good depth, enormous salty minerality, smoky traces, a hint of caramel, has certain power but also coolness, firm, long finish. In top form and still good for many years of aging.
