2003 Assmannshausen Frankenthal Spätburgunder Spätlese trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Spicy woody scent of ripe, partly preserved wild berries with vegetal and mineral notes. Spicy oak on the palate, slightly matured, malty notes, herbaceous and prominent mineral notes, fine dusty tannins, gains depth and structure with air, good finish.
