2019 Ungstein Weilberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm, tart, still reductive, somewhat sulphurous and yeasty nose with bright yellow fruity aromas, hints of yellow spice, traces of light tobacco and fresh vegetal tones reminiscent of broccoli. Bright, polished, quite juicy, tightly knit fruit, lively, at first a little lemony acidity, yeasty notes and still sulphurous tones, seems quite locked in by this, then with air much juicier and more complex, noticeable tannic grip, good substance and persistence, lots of chalky minerality, very good, tight, juicy and spicy finish with grip. Needs time
