2019 Leistadt Felsenberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm, quite deep, somewhat peppery, a hint of toasty and dried-herbal scent of black and red berries with tart tobacco and floral aromas and a hint of tar. Ripe, firm, quite juicy fruit, dried-herbal and peppery spice, a hint of liquorice, present, fine sandy tannin, some acid bite, chalky-salty minerality, a little lemony acidity, floral nuances, persistent, still undeveloped and very slightly rough, some depth, cherry tones, a little ethereal, very good, tight, juicy finish with bite and lots of dense, fresh juice.
