2018 Leistadt Felsenberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Cool, polished red berry and a little bacony nose with hints of black berries, floral nuances, mushrooms and a hint of elderberry. Tight, again very polished and rather cool, fresh fruit, very fine, youthful tannin, persistent on the palate, lots of bite, chalky mineral tones, a hint of pepper and herbs, still undeveloped, some depth, very good, tight, juicy, mineral and smoky finish
