Editor note: Light vegetal notes on the nose, hint of mushrooms, citrus and stone fruit, earthy notes, hint of tobacco. Tart, juicy, slightly muted fruit on the palate, touch of smoked bacon, earthy and mineral notes, fairly prominent acidity, noticeable, slightly sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, slightly sweetish and creamy, floral notes, hint of rubber in the background, some depth, very good, firm, grippy finish.
Best to drink: Mid-2019-2024+

City on the Rhine in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate with about 25,000 inhabitants at the mouth of the Nahe river into the Rhine at the foot of the Rochusberg.
