Editor note: Partly candied yellow fruit on the nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, delicate hint of yellow spice, light earthy and mineral notes. Fairly soft and very sweet fruit on the palate, prominent vegetal aromas, very elegant acidity, some sugar candy and waxy traces, earthy traces, peppery notes, good to very good sweet finish.
Best to drink: To 2028+

City on the Rhine in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate with about 25,000 inhabitants at the mouth of the Nahe river into the Rhine at the foot of the Rochusberg. Even before the Romans, there was a Celtic settlement called Bingium here because of its convenient location. Already the Romans were cultivating wine here at the turn of the century.
