Editor note: Fairly firm nose, restrained citrus and pomaceous fruit, elegant vegetal notes, light peppery and yeasty aromas, delicate nutty notes, smoky traces, fairly prominent earthy and mineral notes. Firm again on the palate, slightly warm and creamy, restrained fruit, light nutty, spicy oak, vegetal notes, firm, elegant acidity, yeasty notes, earthy and salty mineral notes, good grip and substance, some depth, still young, hint of tobacco and soy on a very good, tart, juicy, elegant, spicy finish.
Best to drink: Late 2017-2021+

City on the Rhine in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate with about 25,000 inhabitants at the mouth of the Nahe river into the Rhine at the foot of the Rochusberg.
