A somewhat smoky and slightly tobacco-like to ashy scent with more black than red berries, with a hint of cherries, suggested tar, beetroot, rosehip, and fatty nuances. Firmly structured, herbaceous juicy dark fruit, slightly smoky and tobacco-like wood spice, again a trace of tar, a bit of acidity, relatively present, crumbly-sandy tannins, clearly salt in the background, slightly coffee-roasted aromas and bittersweet chocolate, very good, still somewhat sandy finish.

Best to drink: 2025-2029+. What our ratings mean
