The winery is located in the municipality of Endingen (Kaiserstuhl area) in the German
Baden wine region. It is managed by Reinhold and Cornelia Schneider. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards, planted with the varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Blanc Blanc, Silvaner, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Auxerrois. After a gentle grape pressing, a
spontaneous fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts takes place. Environmentally friendly viticulture is practised consistently, with no
herbicides or artificial fertilisers. The wines are matured in large wooden barrels and steel tanks with long yeast aging, the red wines mature partly in barriques. The great wines of a vintage are marked with the company's own code ***. Letters indicate the origin: A stands for red wines from clay soils, C for red wines from loess soils and R for wines from volcanic weathered soils. In years with suitable weather conditions, Trockenbeerenauslese wines are also pressed. Fine spirits (fruit, grape, yeast, marc) and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
