The winery is located in the community of Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg in the German Nahe
wine region. Erich-Wilhelm and Ursel Rapp developed it from a former mixed agricultural enterprise by purchasing and leasing good vineyard sites to a quality-oriented winery. Today, Walter Rapp is responsible for the winery and the development of the wines. A guesthouse is attached to the estate. The vineyards cover eight hectares in the areas Köhler-Köpfchen, Luisengarten, Schlossberg and Stephansberg (Ebernburg), as well as Rotenberg
(Altenbamberg). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (50% of the total area), Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris, Scheurebe, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc and Kerner, and the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. In the vineyard, great importance is attached to promoting soil fertility by, for example, maintaining short-term and permanent greenery. The wines are matured at a controlled temperature in traditional oak barrels and modern stainless steel tanks. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
